We've never actually had a fire in our fireplace. Jeanine's not a big fan of fires, mostly due to the smoke. As for me, whenever I've lived in a place without a fireplace, I've wanted to have one, but whenever I've lived in a place with a fireplace, I've more or less ignored it. I'm not sure why.
