After a couple of years of indecisiveness on the issue, I've decided to get my teaching credentials. I won't actually start the program until the Fall, but I've set things in motion. There will be costs both in money and in time, but in the long run it's a great investment. I'll have more job options, job security, and pay.

I'm also committed to writing a novel this month. Whether or not I'll have anything worthwhile to show for it come April remains to be seen.

I mention these things here so I can't quietly back out.
